# Delete Your Account

We're sad to see you go, but if you'd like us to delete your account and everything in your Locker, you can do it right from the app. Your FireCal account is shared by every FireCal app, so deleting it removes your access to all of them.

## Tap More, Then Delete Account

Tap **More** in the navigation bar, scroll to the bottom, and tap **Delete Account**. Read **What happens**, which explains what will be deleted and when.

## Confirm & Schedule

Enter your **Current password**, then type your email address where it says **Type your email to confirm**. Tap **Schedule account deletion**, then confirm on **Schedule account deletion?** by tapping **Schedule deletion**.

Your account is now **Scheduled for deletion**, and the screen shows the date it will happen.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Download anything you want to keep first.** Once your account is deleted, your Certs, training, and documents can't be recovered. See [Share Multiple Certs](/sharing-certs/share-multiple-certs.md) to save your Certs as a PDF or .zip.
{% endhint %}

## Changed Your Mind?

Until the scheduled date, you can stop the deletion. Sign in, go to **More>Delete Account**, tap **Cancel pending deletion**, and confirm with **Cancel deletion**.

## What About My Department?

If an Org you belong to relies on some of your Certs for its compliance records, it keeps a read-only copy of those records after your account is deleted. Everything else is removed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.firecal.app/support-and-feedback/delete-your-account.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
