# Export Training Evidence

Every certificate of completion, ready for renewal day.

When it's time to renew, your certifying agency will want proof of your continuing education. If you've been crediting your training to your Cert in CertLocker, you can export the documents behind it in one package.

## Open Export Training Evidence

When looking at your Locker, **Tap a Cert** to open it, tap the **Share Icon** in the top right corner, then tap **Export training evidence**. (You'll also find **Export training evidence** in the Cert's Renewals pane, below **Renewal cycles**.)

If the option is greyed out with **Credit a training to this cert first**, there's nothing to export yet. See [Track Renewal Progress](/my-certs/track-renewal-progress.md) to credit your training.

## Select Your Evidence

The **Training evidence** sheet (titled with your Cert's name) lists the Training Records credited to this Cert, under **Select evidence to export**, with every record that has a document already ticked. A record without a document reads **No document on this record**, so open it and attach one if you need it in the package. You can export up to 100 at a time.

## Choose PDF, ZIP, or Print

Choose **PDF** to combine everything into one document, **ZIP** to bundle each file separately, or **Print**. For a ZIP, you can turn on **Folder per requirement** to sort the files by renewal requirement, and for a PDF, **Section divider page per requirement** adds a divider page before each requirement's evidence.

## Tap Export

Tap **Export**, and CertLocker will build your package and hand it to your device to save or share. If any training records didn't have a document attached, CertLocker will let you know which.

## Evidence from a Past Renewal

You can export the evidence for an earlier renewal, too. Open the Cert's Renewals pane, tap the renewal under **Renewal cycles**, then tap the **Share Icon** and choose **Export training evidence**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.firecal.app/sharing-certs/export-training-evidence.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
