# Orgs

Stronger together.

Your **Orgs** are the departments, districts, and agencies where you serve. When you join your Org in CertLocker, its Officers and Admins can help you stay compliant, invite you to training, and keep track of the department's Certs, all while your Locker stays yours.

## Browsing Your Orgs

Tap **Orgs** in the navigation bar to open **My Orgs**. Each Org you belong to appears as an **Org Card**, with its logo, its name, and your status.

If you haven't joined any Orgs yet, you'll see **No organizations**, with tips for finding your department, creating one, or waiting for an invite.

### Understanding Your Status

Your status with each Org will be one of the following:

* **Invited**: You've been invited to join this Org but haven't accepted yet (see [Org Invites](/organizations/org-invites.md)).
* **Request Pending**: You've asked to join, and you're waiting for an Admin to approve.
* **Member**: Congratulations, you're a part of this Org.
* **Officer**: You're one of the Org's Officers, so you can see the department's compliance and help manage Member Certs and training.
* **Admin**: You can manage the Org itself, including its profile, its Members, and its invitations.

## View the Org Profile

Tap the **Org Card** to open the Org's profile, where you'll find its details and its **Members**. Tap the **Search Icon** beside **Members** to find someone, and tap any Member to view their profile.

If you're an Officer or Admin, you'll also see a **Manage Icon** in the top right corner, which takes you to **Manage Org** (see [Org Administration](/organizations/org-administration.md)).

## Join More Orgs

Tap the **Floating Action Button (FAB)**, the red circle with a **+** at the bottom right, and choose **Find an organization** to search for an Org (see [Find & Join an Org](/organizations/find-and-join-an-org.md)) or **Create an organization** to start one (see [Create an Org](/organizations/create-an-org.md)).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.firecal.app/organizations/orgs.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
