Your profile makes it easier for your friends, colleagues, and supervisors to find you in the app, and to know it's you when you ask to follow them or join their Org. A complete profile with a clear photo of yourself is a great start. ## Tap More, Then Edit Profile Tap **More** in the navigation bar, then tap **Edit Profile**.

## Update Your Profile Photo Tap **Add photo** (or **Change photo**). Choose **Upload profile photo** to use a picture of yourself, or **Pick a default profile image**. To go back to no photo, tap **Remove profile photo** and confirm with **Remove**. ## Complete Your Profile Fill in the fields on the **Edit Profile** screen, and CertLocker will save each one as you go. Keep a **Display name**, and leave out any other details you'd rather not share. Your [Sharing Preferences](/sharing-and-followers/sharing-preferences.md) decide who can see what. * **Display name**: The name other people see in the app. * **Name**: Your legal name (first, middle, last, and suffix), as it should appear on certifications, licenses, and official records. It's separate from your display name. * **Contact**: Where notifications go. Your notification email starts out as your sign in email, and you can set a different address here. Add your phone number if you'd like notifications by text message. * **About**: A little about yourself, and your **Birthday**. * **Address**: Your mailing address. {% hint style="info" %} **Important:** Changing your notification email doesn't change the email you sign in with. To change your sign in email, tap **Change email** (see [Change Email & Password](/more/change-email-and-password.md)). {% endhint %} ## Preview Your Profile Tap **Preview profile** to open your own profile, with your photo, your Followers and Following counts, your Orgs, and your whole Locker. Other people see only what your Sharing Preferences allow them to see.
