# Your FireCal Apps

One account, a whole family of apps.

CertLocker is part of the FireCal family of apps built for responders, including TaskBook, TruckCheck, Shifts, Training, FireLine, RunReport, and Dispatch. Your FireCal account works in all of them, and the **App Switcher** gets you from one to the next.

CertLocker is free and open to everyone. The other FireCal apps are available to departments that use them, so the App Switcher will tell you which ones you can open today.

## Open the App Switcher

On a phone, tap **More** in the navigation bar, then tap the **App Switcher Icon** (the grid of dots) in the top right corner. On a wider screen, tap the CertLocker logo at the top of the sidebar.

The **FireCal apps** list opens, with CertLocker marked as the **Current app**.

## Open Another App

Tap an app to open it. Depending on where you are, you'll see a button to **Open** the app, to get it from your app store, or to open it on the web. If your department doesn't use that app yet, CertLocker will explain why it isn't available and what you can do about it, such as asking your department to add it, or tapping **Tell me when it opens** to hear from us when it becomes available to you. Changed your mind? Tap **Withdraw interest**.

{% hint style="info" %}
**An unavailable app never affects your Locker.** You can keep using CertLocker no matter which other apps your department uses. If you think you should have access to an app, check with your department's Admin, or contact us at <support@firecal.app>.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.firecal.app/getting-started/your-firecal-apps.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
