# Sign In & Reset Password

Welcome back to your Locker.

## Sign In

Open CertLocker, enter the **Email** and **Password** you registered with, then tap **Sign in**. You'll see **Signing you in…** for a moment, and then you'll be routed to your [Daily Briefing](/getting-started/daily-briefing.md).

If you already use another FireCal app, such as TaskBook or TruckCheck, sign in with that same account. It's one FireCal account for every app, and your Locker will be waiting for you.

If CertLocker can't sign you in, you'll see a notice explaining why (a mistyped password, for example). Check your entries, and if you've forgotten your password, follow the steps below.

## Forgot Your Password?

Tap **Forgot password?** below the **Sign in** button to open the **Reset Password** screen. Enter the email address you signed up with, then tap **Send reset link**.

<figure><picture><source srcset="https://946479658-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbOWuzIpL5k2toZeIBVvC%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-12e2e88ef4bfe832341301e2cc200514f015de2c%2Fcertlocker-reset-password-dark.png?alt=media" media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)"><img src="https://946479658-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbOWuzIpL5k2toZeIBVvC%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-c239d6fd33d6e9fa9a8703d7d69b1fd62cc7b58b%2Fcertlocker-reset-password.png?alt=media" alt="The Reset Password screen with an Email field, the Send reset link button, and Back to sign in" width="375"></picture><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If an account exists for that email, we'll send it a link to set a new password. Open the email, follow the link to choose your new password, then come back to CertLocker, tap **Back to sign in**, and sign in with your new password.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Don't see the email?** Give it a few minutes, then check your spam or junk folder. If the link has expired by the time you open it, simply request a new one.
{% endhint %}

## Still Stuck?

If you still can't get in after checking your email address and resetting your password, contact us at <support@firecal.app>, and we'll help you sort it out. Never include your password in a support request.

To change your password or sign in email while you're signed in, see [Change Email & Password](/more/change-email-and-password.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.firecal.app/getting-started/sign-in.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
